Who: For folks new to tango who are just starting out. Everyone is welcome!
No Special Shoes Required.
What: Introduction to Argentine Tango including the foundation movements, technique and floor craft. You'll start to learn close embrace in this class, but will regularly dance in open embrace. You'll practice walking and figures in the line of dance
Ideal for getting started for social dancing.

When: Sundays from 1:00-2:00 pm
Who: Permission by Instructors Required. For students who have successfully mastered material covered in Beginning Tango. There is no particular length of time, though it usually takes 1-2 years of beginning classes to reach this level.
What: Intermediate and Advanced figurework that includes many classes working in close embrace as well as learning Milonga and Vals related material. Class content includes off-axis work and students need to be comfortable dancing in open and close embrace.

When: Currently on Break
Who: For folks who want to learn choreographed group routines and perform them in the community! Advanced beginner level and above. Ideally, members will have a regular practice partner before joining

What: Theatrical Tango Escenario routines choreographed to specific songs. Each routine takes 10-12 weeks to learn followed by a month of rehearsals and performances. These routines involve lifts, drops, dips, and complex theatrical figures.
Costumes: Shoes and Costumes required.
Cost: $15 (currently on break)
When: Thursdays at 7:00-8:00 pm
Who: Everyone is welcome to work out their knots and fix their problem areas!
What: Self-Myofasical Release with foam rollers, base balls, tennis balls and golf balls. Target your back, neck, quads, even arms to work out knots and tightness!!
Mats and Rollers: You're Rolling at home so make sure you have a Foam Roller, Mat and Tennis or Base Ball.
Cost: $10 (Venmo to @Jennifer-Griswold for non-membership hodlers).
When: Sundays from 2:15-3:15 pm
Who: Everyone who wants to strech out their bodies and improve their balance!
What: Stretching and Balance for Dancers is a class that combines ballet, yoga, pilates and fitness strestches to improve flexibility, strenght and balance for parter dancing.
Mats: We'll have some mats but it is encouraged to bring your own if you have them.
Cost: $15 (part of Sunday Special Below)
When: CURRENTLY ON BREAK
Who: Everyone who wants to improve thier following skills and abilities.
What: Followers Technique Bootcamp to develop technique, strength, balance, flexibility and confidence all while enjoying mimosas with friends! Open to leaders who are interested in learning followers technique.
What to Bring: heels and socks or low shoes.
Cost: $40 regular or $20 for monthly membership holders.
What: Try out our Sunday Drop-In Beginning Tango class for only $5! Does not apply for Paradise Milonga, Leading for Followers, visiting instructor workshops, or special events like Mimosas and Movement.
Cost: $5
Who: Folks that are NEW to the studio and have never taken a class or attended an event at Paradise Tango. Once you attend your first $5 class you are no longer eligible for the new student special.
What: Buy at 10 pack of group classes and get a discounted per class rate! You can use the card for any $15 Paradise Tango class (does not include Practica on Thursdays). The card is valid for 6-months from purchase date and is non-transferrable. It is not replaceable if lost. No additional discounts for students with IDs.
Cost: $125 for 10 classes (Save $25! Individual drop-in value is $150)
Who: This option is great for students who are unable (or not ready) to take back to back classes on Sundays (see Sunday Special below). It's also great for students who travel off island often and come to classes on a less than regular schedule due to work or other obligations.
What: Attend multiple classes on the same Sunday to receive discounts with every added class. Currently includes Beginning Tango from noon-1 and Intermediate/Advanced Tango from 1-2 pm (with permission), and Stretching and Balance from 2:15-3:15.

Who: This option is great for students who want to get their most out of Sunday practice. Come to stretch before tango starts to warm up, work on technique, fundamentals and floorcraft in Beginning Tango and when you're ready stay for Intermediate/Advanced for more intricate figures and movements (Inter/Adv class is by instructor permission only).
Discount for Students with ID: If you are a High School or College Student with a valid student ID you can get an additional discounted rate: $12 for one drop-in, $20 for two, and $25 for three).
What: Our craziest Deal yet! If you are truly ADDICTED to tango and want to attend as many classes as possible! Woo hoo!
